Reviews: I was visiting from the US and wanted to bring home a stein but didn’t want to purchase a generic one from a gift shop. I got a recommendation from a local to check out some flea markets in the city. I chose this one as it was closest to where I was staying. There is a huge selection of items (glassware, vases, utensils, plates, jewelry, knickknacks, art, clothing, etc.). More importantly for me, there were many vendors with a variety of steins. It is a big flea market; I spent about half an hour there. I’d recommend visiting if you are in the area. I’d also recommend visiting if you are looking for an authentic stein, as I was.

Since 1978, it has found its home in front of the Ernst Reuter House in the Charlottenburg district, and in 1988, the art and crafts market was added. I’ve only had one bed issue there, when a young guy working at the key Place swung the metal door open and hit me and my baby with the door, and instead of apologizing he gave me a dirty look like I was in his way and stormed off.[ I have used the key Place several times, the owner is a nice guy and does a good job. I don’t know who the kid was, but that was the only bad experience I’ve ever had.]

It began as a livestock and produce auction and has evolved into one of the east coast’s oldest and largest markets. The indoor market now boasts approximately 150,000 square feet of temperature controlled shopping, with over 85 stores with discount prices and something for everyone. Some of the features include an incredible butcher and Amish bakery, produce, candy, wallpaper, furniture, jewelry, footwear, leather goods, automotive supplies, and brand name clothing for the entire family, just to name a few.

The outdoor flea market is held every Saturday and Sunday and has grown to over 700 vendor spaces. It features items such as fruits and vegetables, a wide selection of shrubbery, and blooming plants in season. It also has an ever–changing variety of new merchandise such as ladies, men’s, and children’s clothing, sweatshirts, jewelry, handbags, crafts, antiques, and collectibles. Reviews: Perfectly enjoyable little strip of market stalls. Neat. I believe the artists to be fairly local. There is still a good hit of variety in the type of art you can get, although they are of course catered towards tourists that want something more than a fridge magnet and small time consumers like myself that just want something pretty on the walls.

Like I know it’s mostly all crowd pleasing stuff but having been to some of these before in another city I find the variety here actually refreshing – way less art using featuring female bodies as an object.

Open space per linear meter costs €7, but a 1 meter stand costs €10, i.e. 1 meter stand = €10 stand rental; 2 meter stand = €14 stand rental; 3 meter stand = €21 stand rental and each additional meter +€7.

Reviews: Very nice flea market. There are almost no new goods, which I find very appealing. It’s a true flea market filled with knick-knacks, with something for everyone. The area is well-maintained, and the operators are super friendly. I find the stall rent to be somewhat expensive, but it’s definitely worth it to rent a stand there. As a visitor, you can usually find everything a treasure hunter’s heart desires.
