I spent one night here while passing through Stuttgart, and booked the Waldhotel with no real expectations (other than clean and comfortable) as I had a busy schedule. It turned out to be an exceptionally lovely stay – the room spacious, with a large bathroom and separate shower, and a balcony overlooking a green space and forest. I ended up lingering with coffee on the balcony the next morning before checkout, and wished I had more time to do so. I didn’t have a chance to try the onsite restaurant, but it looked to be quite attractive and busy at lunchtime. The bar off the lobby was a nice spot for a drink before setting off for the evening. If I find myself back in the Stuttgart area, I know where I’ll be staying. Summary: Why choose the Waldhotel Stuttgart ?

The dishes offer a generous selection from classics to seasonal and modern cuisine, and are finely prepared, aromatic, and fresh. Always a pleasure.

Guest Experience:
I was on a Business Trip and stayed only for a single night. To my surprise, the facilities were amazing and I would consider this again because of the Price-to-Performance ratio. The room was huge and lots of space, typically loved their minimalist approach. I had added one of my best breakfast buffets in Europe for only at a cost of 12€, amazing spread with lots of variety and amazing staff/service to go with. Highly recommend – if you’re okay to stay little outside the actual city center.

Guest Experience:
My family stayed here for our visit to Stuttgart and we enjoyed it. We especially loved the location that is close to transportation – The bus and train stations are a walking distance literally outside the hotel. Although the bus and trains are so close, I don’t remember hearing any train noises when resting in our rooms. The rooms were clean and well maintained not to mention the comfortable beds. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet which always had a variety of items to pick from. The staff were also very kind and patient with us always ready to help whenever we reached out. I think we just found our home base for when we are at Stuttgart. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for a month, so I think I can give it quite a thorough review. First of all, I’d like to thank Lilli at the reception. She always has a smile on her face, and does what she can to make your stay comfortable. I hope the hotel management know they have such a gem! Of course, that’s not to say all the ladies at the reception try their best to keep guests happy. The breakfast buffet is great, and the waiters are all happy to help. The location of the hotel is perfect, it’s a very short walk to the Milaneo mall, and a 10 minute walk to the city center. I highly recommend this hotel.

Guest Experience:
I was staying in this hotel for few days on business trip. Everything is clean, tidy, I was overall very satisfied with my stay. Absolute top is breakfast, where one can choose almost everything imaginable. You can have free coffee in the day room next to reception, which is very nice. Good to make coffee to your car. Wi-Fi was working fine. There is tablet in each room, where you can read something about hotel or surroundings, or order something. Although the tablet can choose language, lot of information and menu stays in German. There should be fitness room, which I did not look at. There is no pool or sauna, but you find big aquapark just over the street. Parking is only for guests and there was place for us, but it was almost full. If you can, there is city tram stop just in front of the hotel.
