This vintage classic luxury hotel is a true gem, reminiscent of a museum dedicated to the art of sailing and nautical history. My stay at Hotel Atlantic Hamburg was a captivating journey through time, filled with exquisite details and a sense of grandeur.

The hotel’s interior design is a testament to its rich history and connection to the world of sailing. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by an impressive collection of memorabilia that adorned the walls and halls. The meticulously preserved artifacts, vintage photographs, and maritime-themed décor created an immersive experience that made me feel as if I were part of a seafaring adventure.

The staff at Hotel Atlantic Hamburg truly exemplified the meaning of exceptional service. From the warm and friendly reception upon arrival to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, the team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and attended to my every need. Their knowledge and passion for the hotel’s history added a personal touch that further enhanced the overall experience.

The hotel’s location, overlooking the Lake, is nothing short of spectacular. The picturesque views of the water, combined with the tranquil surroundings, provided a serene and idyllic atmosphere. Guest Experience:

Absolutely fabulous experience, from Laura on the front desk checking me in and being incredibly accommodating throughout my stay, to Emma checking me out and being equally as fantastic, everything went right and there was nothing the hotel did not do to help and accomodate.

The bar staff, particularly the wonderful Charlotte, Alberto and Evan were so attentive and just all round wonderful. Even going so far as to triple check if each menu item was suitable for me to eat.

I really appreciated all the care and attention of everyone at the hotel, thank you so much and I will definitely be back!

Urban location: Located approximately halfway between Reeperbahn and the Landungsbrücken, this 20-story, owner-managed 4-star grand hotel offers modern residential comfort and a cosmopolitan atmosphere, making it an ideal place for a Hamburg vacation. The rooms are spacious, well air-conditioned, maintained, well-equipped, and some offer fantastic, expansive views of the city and harbor. The service is very friendly and cosmopolitan. A bar on the ground floor and one on the 20th floor, as well as a restaurant, are available (not only for hotel guests). Parking is available in the hotel’s underground garage (€25 per day). Breakfast is offered for about €27. The quality of room cleaning could be improved. The architecture of the building is quite impressive: uniform dark-tinted, staggered rectangular window fronts, a main tower with various annexes at different heights create, from the outside, both distance and distinction, fitting majestically and with a cool, factual understatement into the colorful, heterogeneous, dynamically evolving St. Pauli-South. Guests of the Empire Riverside Hotel (built on the edge of the old, now densely developed Astra Brewery site) can feel as part of these exciting processes during their stay, which also make Hamburg a very attractive travel destination.

Guest Experience:

I have stayed at The Madison for many years, both on business and for pleasure, and have always been delighted: it is situated in a uniquely quiet, but fairly central, area – with rooms that are extremely well thought out and extremely comfortable: the staff throughout, from reception on arrival to the restaurant, bar and housekeeping are all friendly and very efficient. Breakfast offers an extraordinary range of choice and provides an excellent start to a long day. As someone who has to travel and use hotels all over Europe, this has consistently been one that is a real pleasure to stay in. Quality!

Guest Experience:

This hotel offers top service and fantastic breakfast buffet. The staff is always very friendly, especially Frau Dege at the breakfast was exceptional attentive to all the guests. The room itself is very spacious, large bathtub which is nowadays seldom in modern hotels. The beds are very comfortable. The location is very central, you can walk to many sightseeing places by feet. This hotel is also pet-friendly. They provide a bed, food and bags for our dog. We unfortunately didn’t have time to go swimming or try their Spa facilities. We will definitely book this hotel when ee visit Hamburg again.
